Until It Pleases

A Portrait Session with Scarlett

October 2026 · Photography & Personal Storytelling

Until It Pleases captures Chef Mark Tucker Jr. away from the kitchen, exploring the life, relationships and reflection that shape his creative work.

Photographed by Scarlett, the session unfolded alongside conversations about love, pace and what it means to move through life with intention.

The Creative Direction

Direct flash, city lights and warm interiors give the photographs an intimate, after-hours atmosphere. Candid moments sit alongside composed portraits, allowing room for both confidence and uncertainty.

The title draws inspiration from Song of Solomon 2:7 and Mark’s devotional reading following the session. It offers a thread through the images: the relationship between desire, patience and timing.

The Connection to HFP

Harmoni Feast Projects grows from a belief that food brings people into relationship. This portrait series turns that attention toward the person preparing the table—his experiences, questions and sources of inspiration.

As a companion to The Table, the session expands HFP’s storytelling through still photography, giving viewers another way to connect with the founder behind the food.
